The Skylands Triathlon and Duathlon is New Jersey's premier Sprint Triathlon. Professionally organized by the North Hunterdon Rotary Club, and limited to 600 athletes.
This long-running, well organized and attended event provides one of the most enjoyable and challenging courses of this distance anywhere in the country. Families, friends and members from the community are welcome to enjoy the race, lunch buffet, and awards ceremonies.

The Columbia Trail Tromp is an annual walk/run/bike event aimed at raising funds for cancer research, particularly the Advanced Research Foundation of Dr. Subash Gulati. In August of 2010, the first annual tromp took place in Long Valley and went all the way to High Bridge and back.
